  Premier Oriental was amazing! They were quick to respond, assured me they had experience with the type of area rug I needed cleaned (Ben Soleman), explained the process and made me feel comfortable that they had the experience required to clean such an expensive rug (a pet has gotten sick on the silk and wool rug). They were able to schedule in timely fashion, and made the removal and delivery as easy as possible. This was a rather large rug, placed under a king size bed and they were perfectionists in laying it correctly.   Arvy and his team were great. Picked up all of my area rugs and pads (moved all of the furniture to get them, too), cleaned them all (including using a enzyme solution to deal with my dogs’ “accidents”), and brought them back looking and smelling great!  He made suggestions on where we could keep the pads and where they had to be replaced  he even gave me a great recommendation for a company to clean my hardwood floors! HOW TO CLEAN A RUG

Oriental rugs and area rugs can be beautiful décor to your home. They can be expensive and delicate. It’s good to know how to maintain them and protect your investment. We have few tips for you how to keep your rugs looking great as long as possible.

1. The best way to keep your Oriental rug or area rug looking its best is flip it upside down and vacuum the back of the rug once a month.
2. Do not vacuum fringes or tassels because it will damage it when they get sucked into the beater.
3. Do not use regular shampoos or sprays because they are usually made for synthetic or wall to wall carpet. Delicate rugs will get damaged!
4. Clean up spills or stains as soon as possible. Clean it with white and dry cotton towel, pressing down from outside towards the middle.
5. Clean up pet odors by using white vinegar and regular water while drying it with white towel.

Weekly vacuuming is ideal for both sides; also rotate your rug 180 degrees once a year depending on traffic. If you get flood or other water source makes your area rugs wet, get professional rug cleaners to take care of your rug to prevent damage to it.
